Duel Disks are a series of devices manufactured by KaibaCorp as a portable form of the Duelling Arenas used in the early part of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Second series anime. They use a portable hologram generator to display Duel Monsters cards and in the case of the Mark 1, the player's hand. Since their introduction in the anime and manga, they have become a staple among duelists.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters 2: Generation NeXt Reborn!Edit

Like before, all the characters of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX has an Academy Standard Duel Disk, but instead, were created by Gorzuburo due to an alternative timeline, where he never died, and Kaiba was still the heir to KaibaCorp. Though, in the past and present, there was a few that used unique Duel Disks.

As the Supreme Empress, Karin Moutoku uses a Blade Disk similar like the Supreme King, except these are actually real blades that were used to kill. After Utiku's defeat, she uses her sister's Scythe Disk.
As the Supreme Prince, Johan Anderson instead of using the Advanced Duel Disk, uses a bladed duel disk looking similar to the Standard one, except, like Karin's has real blades on them.
As the Supreme King, Judai Yuki's duel disk improved from just a disk for dueling, to a disk for not just that, but for a disk for killing as well. Like Johan and Karin's, they have real blades, and when spinning, it won't stop untill jerks it, making it his weapon of torture.
Most of the Wei faction uses a Duel Disk that looks similar to Yubels, except when they activate it, it sounds like a pipe turning, but then a "Ounce" sound is heard.
Seto Kaiba's new Duel disk is a Blue-Eyes one, with the mouth on his hand, and the disk coming out of his coat. The entire duel disk, is infact, inside of the coat itself, and whenever he switches hands, it switches for his preference.
Utiku's Duel Disk consists of a shiny purple aurora around it, due to him having corruptive energy. It is also, the only Duel Disk that can consume cards of his will.
Sousou's Duel Disk is an upgrade of her Scythe weapon, where, if she wishes to duel, she points it and it automaticly changed into a duel disk. It's also used in combat as well.

Yu-Gi-Oh! EXELEdit

The Duel Disks in Yu-Gi-Oh! EXEL are rarely used, as most people use Duel Runners. However, Duel Disks are occasionally used for Ground Duels. The standard Duel Disk has an oval shaped base with a touch screen where the life points and monster stats are shown. The deck is placed in a slot next to the blade. The graveyard is located next to the deck zone and opposite the Extra Deck zone. The card spaces are located on the blade, which comes in two models. The first model has a blade that splits in two and spins around the side of the Duem Disk. The second model's blade is one piece that flips under the vase of the Duel Disk.
